Now that the console has been out for some time, Microsoft announced that it will soon be launching a Classics range for the Xbox 360, effectively shaving off half the price.
In North America, gamers can look forward to Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham Racing 3, Kameo: Elements of Power and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. These games will be rebranded to the new line on October 15, and will retail for $30.
Europeans can get Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo: Elements of Power, Condemned: Criminal Origins and King Kong for a wallet-friendly price of £25 starting October 13.
A second wave of Classics titles are expected to arrive early next year. However, as seen above, titles will vary by region, with different sets of Classics in each region.

Sega’s Xbox 360 launch title has gone gold for the PC and is scheduled to hit stores on April 11.
Developed by Monolith Productions, Condemned: Criminal Origins allows players to experience an unnatural level of psychological tension as they use their weapons, instincts and forensic tools to track down serial killers and bring them to justice.Condemned: Criminal Origins features amazingly photorealistic environments and true to-life sound effects that transport players directly to the scene of the crime. In addition to using guns, gruesome weapons can be fashioned from the environment: paper-cutter handles, wooden planks and lead pipes ripped from the walls can be used to attack the highly intelligent opponents. Enemies don’t merely run at the player, they find an appropriately powerful weapon to strike with and lurk in the shadows, waiting for the best opportunity to attack.
Features include:
- Sophisticated lighting, mapping, and filtering techniques provide for environments of superior detail and visual quality.
- Intelligent enemies respond strategically to your offensive and defensive maneuvers.
- High-level physics allow players to manipulate background items, which respond realistically when picked up, kicked, or bumped.
- Meticulously crafted 5.1 surround-sound will cue players to the location of off-screen enemies.

Sega’s updated Condemned: Criminal Origins product page offers a definite release date for the action-horror game. PC gamers looking forward to bashing hobos and serial killers can mark their calendars on April 11.
