In further bad news for Brash Entertainment, the licensed game publisher who was shut down last week, the company has been sued by two of its contracted studios for work that has gone unpaid.

The studios in question are 7 Studios and Zootfly. The former has filed a suit claiming $468,000 in owed compensation for work on 9, a tie-in for an upcoming Tim Burton animated film, and an additional $113,000 for Six Flags Fun Park. Zootfly wants $748,000 for a game tie-in for Prison Break, a popular television show.

Brash has been going through a tough time recently. The company’s co-founders Thomas Tull and Nicholas Longano left the business a month ago, citing quality concerns with the company’s products. Their funding also dried up amidst the current credit crisis.

Around a dozen projects were in the works at the time of the publisher’s demise, signalling that more lawsuits may be coming up.
