
The upcoming video game adaptation of the big-screen adaptation of the Old English epic poem Beowulf has gotten an all-star voice cast comprising of the actors from the forthcoming movie.
Sir Anthony Hopkins, most popular for his amazing rendition of cannibalistic Hannibal Lector in the “Silence of the Lambs” film, will reprise his role of King Hrothgar from the film. He will be joined by Ray Winstone, who plays the titular role of Beowulf; Brendan Gleeson in the role of Wiglaf; and Sebastian Roche as Wulfgar.
The game is expected out next month, alongside the film, for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP.

Already announced for some time now, 4HEAD Studios has announced that they have partnered with 3D-IO to bring Beowulf to “next-generation consoles” as well as the PC. Further information on the companies can be found on their respective websites.
