
Ditching the Xbox 360 altogether, Sega has announced that Full Auto 2: Battlelines is being developed for the PSP; the PS3 version is already available. To top it off, there are going to 56 exclusive single-player events in the story mode, 15 selectable cars specifically designed for the handheld, numerous multiplayer and arena modes, and a host of new weapons.
Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP is currently being developed by Deep Fried Entertainment. Players can get behind the wheel of 15 different vehicles in Full Auto 2: Battlelines each with customizable skins. Vehicles can also be customized with a multitude of weapons including grenades, M60’s, M203 grenade launchers, aircraft guns, mortars, fire & forget radar-guided missiles, and heat-seeking missiles. Taking on more than 15 original tracks in the game, players will immediately notice how Full Auto 2: Battlelines pushes the PSP’s technological boundaries with breathtaking displays of destruction, physics, and speed.In the 56 event single player campaign, players will battle through a variety of challenging modes, achieve a multitude of goals, and destroy numerous rivals - all the while destroying the environment and using the destruction to their advantage. Full Auto 2: Battlelines features three unique new districts on the PSP, each offering six tracks including Point-to-Point, Circuit, and Arena levels. The multiplayer portion of the game features different race modes via ad-hoc connections such as Head-On and Down & Back, or challenge others in Arena Deathmatch modes - all of which contain a variety of objectives. Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP also implements the fan-favorite Unwreck™ feature, which enable players to turn back time and take another shot at a treacherous turn, avoid a deadly obstacle, or simply avoid enemy fire. All the action is backed by a heart pounding sound-track featuring Stone Sour, Sum 41, We Are Scientists, Wolfmother and others.
The game will be out on PSP sometime next year.

Coming as a big surprise to many, Sega, in its latest pre-E3 announcement declared that Full Auto 2: Battlelines will be PS3 exclusive.
Following the original, which is exclusive to the Xbox 360, Battlelines features the same formula of the original: high-speed action racing… with big guns. Players will be able to destroy the environment this time around, using it to their advantage - track conditions can be changed to block competitors, open new paths, or crush opponents with falling debris. Players can get behind the wheel of 25 different vehicles ranging from classic muscle cars and low riders to monstrous SUVs and industrial vehicles, each of which can be customized with more than 20 explosive weapons as well as multiple paint schemes and wheel styles. Taking on more than 20 tracks in the game, players will immediately notice how Full Auto 2: Battlelines pushes next-generation technological boundaries with breathtaking displays of destruction, physics, and speed.
In the new multi-path single player campaign, players battle to take control of Staunton City by conquering the six different districts and taking control of opponent cars and weapons. The game’s six different carnage-filled multiplayer modes, which incorporate team play and objectives ranging from classic deathmatches to unique base assaults and gladiator-style gameplay, deliver a diverse range of competitive options. The sequel implements the fan-favorite Unwreck™ feature, which allows players to turn back time and take another shot at a treacherous turn, avoid a deadly obstacle, or simply avoid enemy fire.
