A new developer diary for Prince of Persia has been released, showing off footage from the upcoming action-adventure game. Developers talk about the open-world nature of the game, on-demand dialog system, story and other aspects of the title.
The game is due out December 2 on PS3 and Xbox 360; a PC version is expected on December 9.

With the console versions out of the way, it appears DICE is pimping up the upcoming release of the PC version of Mirror’s Edge with support for PhysX’s physics engine, noting that NVIDIA 8-series and above cards will offer enhanced physics support for the game.
In fact, to show off the power of the PC, they released a trailer showcasing PhysX effects below. The game is due out on PC in January 2009.

A v1.1 patch for Sins of a Solar Empire is now live after an extended beta testing period. The new version includes several enhancements, including network improvements, upgrades to graphics performance, improved graphics, mini-underground window, balance tweaks, AI fixes, and more.
This change log outlines all the changes made through the update. It can be downloaded through Stardock’s Impulse platform.

A new patch is now online for Crysis Wars, the multiplayer portion of Crysis Warhead, updating it to v1.2.

A v1.03 patch for Spore is now live, offering a couple of bug fixes and some free parts in the Creature Creator.
The design team has included 24 new exoskeleton limbs in the patch, all of which can be combined with parts from Creepy & Cute Parts pack to create new creatures.
The patch will be downloaded automatically when the game starts. It can also be downloaded manually using the EA Download Manager.

Capcom has announced that the highly anticipated Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for Xbox Live Arcade will be one of the first games to be featured in the New Xbox Experience with a branded destination experinece.
The game, which launches today, will see a single destination for itself go live on Xbox Live that will let you learn about new content, view the latest trailers and access downloadable content easily. A premium theme will go live for the NXE, offering a fully dynamic experience for those aching for Street Fighter action.

A new trailer for the upcoming brawler has emerged, showing off the addition of Gouken, an old April Fools joke, as a playable character. He is shown kicking the asses of Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li, the three major characters of the series.
The game is due out early next year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Football Manager 2009, the latest installment in the long-running football simulation series, has launched today along with a day-one patch that updates the game to v9.1.0 (build 26064).

Microsoft has announced that Fallout 3 will be the first title to offer downloadable content through the newly announced Games for Windows Live Marketplace.
Said Pete Hines, VP of public relations and marketing for Bethesda: "Games for Windows LIVE helps us expand the Fallout 3 universe and bring the full experience directly to gamers. Through the Marketplace we now have a no-nonsense way to deliver updates and great downloadable content. It’s really a complete package, and a great fit for Fallout 3."
It was previously announced that the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game would receive exclusive downloadable content. No release date for said DLC was given.

Not surprising anyone, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed during a company presentation that both Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and the exclusive downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto 4 are being delayed.
Speaking to MTV Multiplayer, Zelnick noted that the GTA 4 DLC is “close to being complete. That said, it may move into the second quarter.” The company’s Q2 starts on February 1, 2009, which would place the DLC far beyond its Fall 2008 target.
Meanwhile, the DS game is also being shifted to the company’s second quarter to “fill out a better launch and marketing window,” according to Zelnick. The quarter runs till May 31, 2009.

Making the game even more international than usual, EA Sports today announced that all 14 international commentary packs in FIFA 09 will be available for download free on both PlayStation Network and Xbox LIve.
Fans worldwide can download the packs and experience commentary from different commentators all over the world. These packs were previously region-specific. It is not known why EA decided to release them for free.

Sony has announced that a couple of animal suit costumes are coming to LittleBigPlanet today. This includes shark, gorilla and plant costumes, along with a special MotorStorm costume, all of which you can view to the right.
Prices vary from free for the plant costume (which was designed by a fan), 99c for the animal costumes and the “holy shit” cost of $1.99 for the MotorStorm costume.

A playable demo for Resident Evil 5 may be announced soon, according to game producer Jun Takeuchi.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Takeuchi mentioned that an announcement is coming “relatively soon”; he also mentioned that downloadable content for the game is also “possible,” though he wouldn’t elaborate.
He also talked about the hard drive install for the PS3 version of the game, noting that they are paying attention to player feedback from Devil May Cry 4, adding that they are coming up with “something that users will not criticize, but love.”
The game is due out sometime next year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
