Sony has announced that a couple of animal suit costumes are coming to LittleBigPlanet today. This includes shark, gorilla and plant costumes, along with a special MotorStorm costume, all of which you can view to the right.
Prices vary from free for the plant costume (which was designed by a fan), 99c for the animal costumes and the “holy shit” cost of $1.99 for the MotorStorm costume.

None can deny the stylish, filmic look of Left 4 Dead, Valve’s latest release. The studio has released details on the post-processing effects it has used to give the game that effect, which makes it stand out from all the other titles in the market, and also gives the game that stylish look which has become its trademark.
Some of these effects include film grain, vignetting and local contrast, all of which are known to photographers at the very least. Be sure to check out the post, cause it’s an interesting read.

Serving a blow to the used games market, Nintendo has announced that the Wii Speak Channel will be available only to those who purchase a brand new Wii Speak from retailers.
The units will apparently come with a one-time activation code that cannot be replaced by either Nintendo or the retailer, effectively shooting down second hand sales of the peripheral.
Wii Speak goes on sale next month; the related Channel won’t function without a Wii Speak unit.

A playable demo for Resident Evil 5 may be announced soon, according to game producer Jun Takeuchi.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Takeuchi mentioned that an announcement is coming “relatively soon”; he also mentioned that downloadable content for the game is also “possible,” though he wouldn’t elaborate.
He also talked about the hard drive install for the PS3 version of the game, noting that they are paying attention to player feedback from Devil May Cry 4, adding that they are coming up with “something that users will not criticize, but love.”
The game is due out sometime next year on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

A “big” announcement is coming for Fable 2, according to this post on the game’s blog.
“Normally, we don’t like to tease too much,” reads the post. “You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog.
“We’ve got some good news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it’s quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it’s a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!”
That will be one hell of a “big” announcement. I hope it’s a downloadable expansion or chapters of some sort.
