1C Company has announced King’s Bounty: The Legend as the new title for the project formerly known as Battle Lord. King’s Bounty is said to be a continuation of the legendary role-playing adventure that is considered a forerunner to the Heroes of Might and Magic series. It is being described as a “true rejuvenation” and not just a spiritual successor.
As per the announcement, the name change will not translate into any delays or changes in the game’s direction. King’s Bounty: The Legend is scheduled for release during Q4 2007.
