In this time and age of advanced graphics, animation, physics and AI, gaming computers have to look their best. And now, for those in the UK, Alienware isn’t the only option: Beast Computers is there!
Launched only last year, the “professional gaming PC” manufacturer has gotten itself quite a good reputation already, with their computers’ build quality and performance said to be especially good. Aimed especially at professional gamers (and kids with fat wallets), their Beast Breed X lineup of PCs are completely future-proof, claiming to run Crysis and other next-gen computer games at “silky” smooth frame rates. That claim is backed up by the fact that these computers come with the latest Core 2 Duo processors, 2 Gigs of RAM and two GeForce 8800 GTXs coupled up in SLI mode.
With the above specs, prices aren’t exactly cheap, but when compared to their competitors, they seem quite reasonable. The lowest configuration starts at £2400, with the highest going up to three grand. Even if you don’t have that much money solely for gaming, they also have budget systems, and let’s not forget that you can build your own system from scratch.
If you live in the UK, and are in the market for a gaming PC, be sure to look them up.
