Former employees of Digital Illusions Canada have opened Redjade, a new game development studio focusing on supplying art creation services for the PC and next-generation consoles.

Led and founded by Fredrik Liliegren, who was previously the CEO of Digital Illusions AB, the company is based in London, Ontario and will focus on creating 2D and 3D art assets. Further information can be found on Redjade’s website.

To make the upcoming purchase of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes sweet, SOE and Sigil Games Online have announced a pre-order program as well as a Collector’s & Guild Edition details. Scheduled for release during Q1 2007, those who pre-order the game will get early access to the game, a special account key that will let players sprint for longer periods, invitation to the open beta, along with an assortment of bonus content.

Those who order the Regular Edition ($50) will receive a one month subscription to the game, along with a choice of in-game content. Those who purchase the Collector’s & Guild Edition ($90), packaged in a custom leatherette chipboard box, will receive an assortment of goodies listed inside.
