
If you’re one of those rare breeds of Mac users and happen to own a Xbox 360, you just might want to check this out. Someone has created a USB driver for the Xbox 360 controller to make it work on an OSX machine; it also includes support for the Apple Force Feedback library and is licensed under the GPL.
The driver currently supports only a few games on the OS, including Halo and MacMAME. The author plans on updating this driver to support Microsoft’s USB dongle to allow the wireless controller to work with the Apple OS.

It has been public for months that Ritual is looking into bringing Sin Episodes to the Xbox 360, but Microsoft constraints have kept that from happening so far.
Now, it seems that the company is interested in SiNning on the PS3. Ritual’s VP of development Tom Mustaine sat down with AICN to talk about the company’s console plans where he revealed the studio’s desire to work on a PS3 version. However, it has to be noted that the comment was made “casually,” but considering the fact that PS3’s online service will closely mimic Xbox Live, it would be no surprise to see SiN on the Sony console.

CDV has announced its distribution agreement with DreamCatcher that will see the latter publishing “Glory of the Roman Empire” in North America, with CDV exclusively distributing all German language versions of DreamCatcher’s upcoming titles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

New premium downloadable content for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion can be found on its website for just $1.89. Titled “Thieves Den”, the DLC adds outfits for the player’s stealth-based character for missions; it also adds more:

Sega of Europe today officially announced Tenchu: Time of Assassins exclusively for the PSP. The publisher has partnered with FromSoftware and K2 Studios to bring the title to the portable console on June 23.
All the classic Tenchu characters will return for the game, including Rikimaru, Ayame, Rin and Tesshu. Each character will have a different story, with each story taking place in different levels. In addition to the scenario mode, there will also be a “free mission” mode that will let players go through 50 independent missions after they have completed the single-player campaign.
Time of Assassins will make use of the PSP’s wireless connection, letting players go head-to-head or play co-operatively using a local connection. The title will also be host to a creation tool, allowing players to create their own stages and share them with friends via ad hoc download.
As stated above, Tenchu: Time of Assassins will be sneaking up to European stores on June 23.

An announcement from Ubisoft reveals that a game based on the hit TV series “Lost” is is development at Ubi’s Montreal studio; it is scheduled for release worldwide in 2007, and will be hitting consoles, handhelds and PCs.
No details on the actual game were provided, but if the TV series is any indication, no resolution of the story will be offered until its 100th sequel.

Now that the company has launched the redesigned handheld in Japan and marked a North American date, Nintendo today sent over word that Europeans will be getting their grubby hands on the sleek DS Lite starting June 23. It will be available in either “sleek black” or “cool, stylish white” - whichever consumers choose.
DS Lite will retail for an estimated price of around £100 when launched. To accompany the launch, Nintendo will also be releasing Brain Training (June 9), Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends Edition (June 16), New Super Mario Bros. (June 30) and Elektroplankton (July 7).

The Nintendogs craze continues in the UK, as Nintendo today announced Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends Edition for release in the region from June 16.
Having sold more than 6 million copies globally, with 2.5 million in Europe alone, the new game will see an initial choice of six breeds to own and a further 14 to be unlocked. The previously hard-to-unlock Dalmatian breed will be available from the beginning; it will be joined by the most popular dogs from the previous versions - Dachshund, Labrador and Chihuahua.

Strategy First today announced that it has signed Birth of America, a turn-based strategy title from SEP BOA, for release in North America.
The year 2005 marks the 250th anniversary of the start of the French & Indian Wars. Twenty years later, the America Revolutionary War erupted. These two events marked the real start of a new era in the Americas and the end of British Colonial rule.In Birth of America, the player controls one of the major contenders of these 2 conflicts, trying to achieve military and political victory. The game covers all of North America, from Florida to Quebec and New England to Mississippi.
Control the military action of your nation. This includes such activities as drafting forces, building forts and depots, sieges and blockades, raiding enemy settlements and battles, both on land and at sea.
Naval units come in the form of warship squadrons and flotillas. You can also manage supply wagons, water transport, forts and depots. Wide diversity of troop types are implemented, including: light infantry; dragoons; siege artillery; rangers; Indian warriors; marines; militias; ships of the line; frigates and lake flotillas. There are more than ninety different models of units in all.
