Deviating from their Xbox-exclusiveness, Tecmo announced Super Swing Golf PANGYA for the Wii. Being released early in 2007, the game will take advantage of Wii’s unique controller and provide a newly designed, casual golf game, putting the player in control of the club and the course.
No longer will gamers be bound to play golf with their thumbs, no longer will gamers have to flush years of golf lessons down the toilet, no longer will gamers be forced to sit and be a passive observer while the onscreen character has all the fun! A revolution is at hand! Pick up the controller and swing away! The Nintendo Wii controller provides a new level of gaming interaction-sensing motion, depth, positioning and targeting dictated by the movement of the controller to act as the golf club. A back-swing sets the amount of power of the swing and the angle of the controller defines whether the ball will hook or slice. Take on the role as one of many main characters and swing away.Super Swing Golf PANGYA has gone through a major graphical overhaul that brings this title to life in a uniquely designed fantasy world. Complete with improved character texture and molding, newly designed costumes, and beautifully rendered redesigned courses this title aims to be a hole in one!
Fans of the game will rejoice at the implementation of a single player mode. Hit the links and play through Story Mode, Free Mode, or Challenge Mode to get your skills up to par. Playing through the single player modes allows for additional characters, challenging courses, unique costumes, and new equipment to be unlocked. Take on other players in Match Play, Stroke Play, and Party Play to bury the opposition!

I don’t know about you, but it seems to me Team Ninja is overdoing the whole erotic thing with the DOA girls. They should focus on doing an actual game.

EVE Online is set to see a new expansion - codenamed Kali - that will introduce an innovative Advanced Reactive Content System, in which the political landscape and physical borders of nation-states within the game can be altered dynamically through the collective outcome of player actions.
Kali will also have factional warfare, in which players will have the option to align themselves with an NPC faction. The expansion will also see the opening of new regions in the game’s universe, the addition of significant exploration content, next-gen player R&D that includes reverse engineering capabilities, additional ship upgrades and player professions, the introduction of combat boosters, and the addition of new warships.
The Path to Kali will begin in Q2 2006 with the first release, ending sometime next year with the factional warfare implementation.
The game’s developer CCP also announced that a new version of the current graphics engine for the game is being developed to take advantage of DirectX 9 features for superior imagery.
They also announced the parallel development of an entirely new graphics engine called “EVE Vsita”. Dubbed “Trinity II”, the new graphics engine will feature support for DirectX 10 and will offer far greater detail and other advanced technical and visual imagery support.

SCEE has announced that it plans on releasing Forbidden Siren 2 in Europe this June exclusively for the PS2.
Don’t turn the lights out - Forbidden Siren 2 is coming to get you! Set on the island of Yamijima [the island of darkness], the story begins when a group of characters are washed up on the deserted island’s shore after their boat is caught in a violent storm. Unbeknownst to them, twenty-nine years earlier, all the inhabitants of the island mysteriously disappeared in a blackout when an underwater electric cable snapped, cutting the power…To this day the island is shrouded in mystery. Little do they know - the unfortunate visitors are not alone on the island as the Shibito [living dead] are everywhere. Join Mamoru Itsuki and a young girl named Kishida, as the unlikely pair embark on a frantic fight for survival - and unearth the secrets of the island.
To survive, players need to use light to their advantage. Both the Yamibito [people of the dark] and the Shibito are sensitive to light in different ways. Either turn lights on or smash street lights to plunge them into darkness, or hide in the shadows and throw objects to distract your enemy. And if stealth tactics fail, pick up one of more than 30 weapons or use vehicles to ram enemies and obstructions and access remote parts of the island.
And for extra chill factor, the trademark Siren sight-jacking has been enhanced - so players can now see the game through the eyes of animals as well as through the eyes of the Shibito and the Yamibito. Watch the enemy hunt you with the tracking capability of the sight-jacking, and, only if you dare, switch and watch yourself be the victim!
