According to this post, the April issue of Game Informer magazine features the first look at a Nintendo Revolution title - Red Steel. Lara Croft has become yet more popular - the big busted digital vixen has been awarded a Guinness World Record as the “Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine.”
The prize is justified though: Lara has sold over 28 million games worldwide, appeared onstage with U2, adorned the cover of over 200 magazines, and she has also famously taken the blame for another goalkeeping error by England goalkeeper and big Lara fan David James. Additionally, two movies based on the videogame franchise have been made with Angelina Jolie in the lead role.
Tomb Raider: Legends is Lara’s latest outing. It will be available starting April 11 on the PSP, PS2, PC, Xbox and Xbox 360.

The trio studies under the instruction of their teacher, Kakashi, who helps the group face a series of dangerous and daunting tests and challenges. Through their adventures, the young ninjas learn the importance of friendship, teamwork, loyalty, hard work, creativity, ingenuity, and right versus wrong.

“At Microsoft Game Studios we have worked hard to become the best partner for the best creative talent in our industry, and this acquisition underscores our commitment to excellence,” said Shane Kim, general manager of Microsoft Game Studios. “Peter Molyneux is one of the few true visionaries in our industry, and his joining us is incredibly important to the future of both interactive entertainment and MGS. Sierra Entertainment has officially announced World in Conflict which was revealed in the latest issue of PC Zone Magazine. Developed by Massive Entertainment, the game features completely destructible 3D battlefields, team-based multiplayer action and “hard-hitting” battles.
World in Conflict presents a chillingly authentic Cold War scenario where the Berlin Wall never fell. Created by Cold War authority and best-selling author Larry Bond, the story begins in 1989 as the Soviets, fearing certain collapse, boldly advance into Europe. NATO responds in force only to be met on a second front — a full-fledged invasion of the American homeland. Players take on the role of field commander, leading the era’s most powerful military machines in the campaign to retake America’s cities and suburbs.Features in World in Conflict include:
- Super-Powered Warfare: Unleash the arsenals of the great military superpowers in the gripping single-player story created by Larry Bond
- Bleeding-Edge Graphics - The latest version of Massive’s proprietary Masstech engine allows for a full 360° range of camera control and features advanced lighting and physics effects
- Complete Destructibility - As the battle rages, the world environment pays the price — every object in the game will crumble under the force of war, including cars, buildings and forests
- Deep Multiplayer Modes: Using Massive’s proprietary Massgate multiplayer server system, World in Conflict will support up to 16 players for head-to-head, team-based battles
- Real World Units: Players will take control of the most devastating arsenal of military weaponry ever created, including Soviet, American and NATO tanks, planes, trucks, troops and helicopters as well as nuclear weapons
- Player Roles - Players will choose to play as Infantry, Armor, Support Forces, or Aerial specialists; multiplayer teams will need to master each role for maximum effectiveness.
The game is scheduled for release this Spring. Below are the first eight high-resolution screenshots from the title.

The fourth instalment in the Rayman series was announced by Ubisoft. Led by series creator Michel Ancel, who was also behind Beyond Good & Evil and King Kong, the game will be out in time for the Holiday season for both current and next-generation consoles.

Keeping in track with Ken Kutaragi’s “PS3 will be expensive” and “you better get a second job” remarks, SCEE’s George Fornay dropped hints as to just how expensive the next-gen console from Sony will get.
According to him, through a radio station interview on Europe 1, the PS3 will be hitting the region for €500 to €600; he also confirmed that the PS3 will be hitting Europe this November.
Doing a direct conversion makes it stand at US$700, but it has to be noted that Europeans almost always get shafted in the case of price. Usually Dollar-Euro conversions are made 1:1, so therefore, it is expected that the PS3 will retail for $500-$600 in North America.
